Welcome to the official website of Staffordshire based solo musician, RICH PARSONS!

Since 1995, Rich Parsons has been performing, writing and recording a wealth of original material which has been heard in various form throughout the years, from use in his own live shows and competitions to bands, projects and radio work. A self taught multi-instrumentalist who was once banned from his school music department for being "too keen", Rich began learning guitar at the age of 12 before moving briefly onto the drumkit. In 1994, he formed his own band at school and for the next six years began writing and touring with two albums worth of songs. From 2000 onwards, Rich has been a trusted, reliable, dynamic and sought after addition for many bands and projects, more recently working as a frontman with Lurve Handle and Viperlounge. Not only can Rich write and compose songs, but he also enjoys playing guitars, bass, drums, mandolin, ukelele, keyboards, percussion and of course arranging vocal harmonies, drawing on a wide diverse range of influences and tastes. In 2003, he recorded material for rock act, Blueroom before moving on with Scarecrows Dont Work in 2007. For 2010, Rich has been busy in Stafford writing an album with Lurve Handle, due for release in 2011.

Rich wrote his first ever song at school and other songs have been used for band albums, competitions and radio station interviews and compilations.
